The rich in history 🏞️Shizumine Furusato Park has its name well spread due to its large variety of cherry 🌲trees, including the symbolic Double-Flowering cherry trees. Differ from other cherry trees, the double flowering cheery trees has a later bloom 🌼 with more vivid and richer color. It has created a breathtaking fairyland dyed with pale pink 🌸, rose pink 🌺 and pearl white💮!

⛰Mt.Ohira, lying centrally in the Ohirasan Natural Park just a short drive outside Tochigi city (or take a bus from Tochigi Sta.), is covered by more than 4000 of 🌸🌲cherry trees. When spring rolls over, the whole mountain will be covered with fluttering pink 🌸cheery blossoms, giving the impression of a wonderland which only appears in fairy tales.
There are numerous 📸viewpoints on Mt.Ohira. And the 660-year-old Misumi Obira Cherry Tree at the foot of the mountain is no doubt one on the must-see list!
On top of that, Mt.Ohira offers a scenic and fairly easy 🚶hiking trail that leads all the way to the ⛩️Ohirasan Shrine, from where you can treat your 👀eyes with a striking view of the landscape.
