Kindaijin is the most well-known Jazz club in Utsunomiya. It’s located in a quiet part of Utsunomiya, and the owner himself is a Jazz enthusiast. There are live performances every Sunday from 8 PM, and you may get to experience impromptu performances from local musicians as well! Approx. 20 min walk from Utsunomiya station, or a 10 min walk from Tobu-Utsunomiya Station.
2. INDULZ DREAM
Indulz Dream is a classy Jazz bar that offers a seasonal selection of food, an excellent wine selection, and live Jazz performances from 9 PM on most days of the week. Kick back with a fine glass of wine and enjoy the show! Approx. 15 min walk from Utsunomiya station, or a 10 min drive from Tobu-Utsunomiya Station.
3. Free Flight
Free Flight is a little hideaway for people who want something a bit more low key. The excellent food and drink are made even better with a live piano performance which you can enjoy every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday! There are live Jazz performances every weekend, but don’t hesitate to visit on weekdays either — the records they play are sure to be treat to the ears.
