👺 Behold the Legendary TENGU Mask and More 👺

🏮 Experience the awe-inspiring Numata Festival, where a magnificent 👺 TENGU mask 👺 steals the spotlight as it gracefully parades through the town on the festival’s first and third day. This colossal mask, featuring a majestic nose reaching for the sky at a towering height of 2.9 meters, captures attention with its impressive dimensions of 4.3 meters in length and 2.3 meters in width. It is carried by a procession of 300 women, adding to its grandeur.

🥳 On the festival’s second day, the Tengu mask takes a well-deserved break, but the celebration continues with a vibrant showcase of traditional floats adorned with exquisite dolls depicting legendary figures like Susanoo-no-Mikoto and Benkei. ✨🎶

For enthusiasts of Japanese festivals seeking an opportunity to immerse in the local community, the Numata festival offers an unforgettable experience. 🇯🇵
