Enjoy for 2 hours

🔥Rare Opportunity to Witness FIRE WALKING🔥

Every year in March, people gather in Nagatoro for this truly rare opportunity to witness 🔥Buddhist firewalking🔥 at the Nagatoro Himatsuri.

The whole festive day starts with the 📢procession of 1000 monks and 🐚performers, which gives you a chance to see their gorgeous garments up close and take pictures!

The highlight of this 1000-year-old ritual is when the monks and devout followers🏃sprint into the 🔥sacred fire to ward off impurities and pray for the community! Along with fire walking, monks perform other rituals like 💦dousing themselves with boiling water– 😮!
