❄️🏔️A Spectacular Frozen Waterfall💦
(Also beautiful in Spring, Summer and Autumn)

Fukuroda Falls in Daigo town is one of the three most renowned waterfalls in Japan. It is beautiful all seasons, but particularly stunning in the winter when it starts to freeze ❄️.

With a hight of 120meters and a width of 73m it is a beautiful waterfall to experience when covered in ice. From the observation deck you can see the waterfall quite close up and if you are lucky you may even see ice-climbers trying to reach the peak 🧗.

There is a tunnel and elevator that takes visitors through the mountain to an observation deck that is so close to the waterfall you can get wet 💦 when there is a lot of water. There are also some short 🥾hiking courses starting from 500m -2km (10-90 min) as well as also longer courses 7-10km (2.5 -4hours) to enjoy the waterfall from different angles (some of these may be closed during winter).

The best chance you have to see the water fall freeze is in January!
