Kingdom Town

Indoor areas such as "ASIA FOREST" "WET LAND," and "TROPICAL FOREST" offer the opportunity to observe animals up close. Exciting animal performances can be enjoyed at the "ANIMAL STADIUM" and "AQUA STAGE."

Kingdom Farm

Engage with animals like alpacas, horses, and sheep. Watch spectacular animal performances at the "SKY STADIUM" and "EVENT PLAZA."

Witness the remarkable skills of New Zealand sheepdogs as they showoff their herding techniques as they move animals around a field directed by their handlers.

Bird performances

Experience the breathtaking flights of birds like hawks, owls, and parrots as they fly just above your head.

Winter Bird performances

During winter seasons, the bird performance is at 13:30 at Barbecue Garden. Watch hawks and owls as they fly just above your head.

The Cats

Witness the incredible physical prowess and intelligence of cats. Their impressive performances, including powerful jumps, hoop jumps, and tightrope walking will blow you away.

Feeding Experience

Feed various animals, including penguins, seals, alpacas, sheep, horses, capybaras, and waterfowl in the Kingdom Town area. You can also enjoy a ride on the back of a Bactrian camel.

How we help animals at Nasu Animal Kingdom

Nasu Animal Kingdom puts great emphasis on the protection, conservation, and awareness of wildlife and the environment. Through initiatives like our ‘CONSERVATION FOREST’, we aim to protect and exhibit endangered species like Tsushima Wildcats and Japanese Grouse. Our breeding programs and collaboration with other zoos have been contributing to wildlife conservation. Below are some examples.

Ex situ conservation efforts for grouse.

After accepting fertilized eggs of grouse (a national special natural treasure of Japan), we raised the birds and returned them to the wild.

Tsushima Cat Conservation Efforts

Our Wildcat Terrace restaurant offers dishes where part of the sales goes to helping secure a feeding ground for the Tsushima Wildcats.

Conservation of wild snow leopards

We sell items that help protect wild snow leopards and the local communities in Kyrgyzstan.
