What’s more, Yoshimura is only 3 min walk from the closest 🚉Kitayama station, so it’s easy to access by 🚃🚍public transportation. 🚴Bike hires is also a popular way to get around. The strawberry farm offers bicycle hire as well as Mashiko station.
When visiting, also try your hand at the potter’s wheel and experience Mahsiko’s pottery culture which helped put the area on the map. While you can’t take any of the strawberries back home with you, you can bring back a beautiful Mashiko-Yaki souvenir!

Come stop by Mibu Highway park (Expressway resting area) on the Kitakanto Expressway (near the junction with Tohoku Expressway) and walk to 🍓 Mibu Strawberry Park to pick delicious strawberries. Customers travel from far and wide to taste the Tochiotome strawberries cultivated in this area!
Not only is the strawberry farm convenient, there is also a toy museum (Mibumachi Toy Museum / 壬生町おもちゃ博物館) and large outdoor park (Tochigi Wampaku park / とちぎわんぱく公園) a short walk away which is popular among children.
