Being half-British and half-Japanese, I grew up right here in Tochigi Prefecture, developing a native’s deep understanding of our region’s hidden paths, historic sake breweries, and artisan traditions. But after spending 15 years living and working in London, I also gained a clear insight into the exact standards, logistical needs, and cultural preferences that global travelers and international agents look for.
I created Nearby Tokyo to be a genuine liaison. By combining my local roots with global travel trade experience, we help visitors comfortably navigate the breathtaking countryside of Tochigi, Gunma, Ibaraki, and Saitama, while actively supporting the passionate local vendors who keep our traditions alive.
