Tickets are required for entry, with prices varying by access type and seating.

  • General Admission (Adults): From 6,300 JPY (自由観戦券)here.
  • 16-23 Year olds: Free general admission when applying for 16-23 ZERO円パスhere.

Motegi town has a lot of nature, so there are a few campsites and cabin rentals, such as Nagomi, Eagle’s Nest campsite, and Mobility Resort Motegi.

How to get there

Public Transport

From JR Utsunomiya Station, take the special-event shuttle bus or a local bus bound for “Mobility Resort Motegi” (approx. 90 mins).

Note: During major race weekends, special direct reserve buses often run from Tokyo or Mito, but seats fill up fast!

Car

The Motegi circuit (Honda Mobility Resort) is a 50-minute drive from Mito IC on the Joban Expressway or Moka IC on the Kita-Kanto Expressway.

Note: From Tokyo, Mito IC is closer. If coming from Tochigi & Gunma, Moka IC is closer.

Access from Tokyo

By Public Transport

Via JR Utsunomiya Station (Total from Tokyo 2.5hrs)​

From Tokyo Station, take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen to JR Utsunomiya Station (approx. 50 mins). From JR Utsunomiya Station (East Exit), take the special-event shuttle bus or a local bus bound for “Mobility Resort Motegi” (approx. 90 mins).

*During major race weekends, special direct reserve buses often run from Tokyo or Mito, but seats fill up fast!

We recommend using a travel app like Google Maps or Japan Transit Planner to find train times.

By Car

Via Mito IC on the Joban Expressway (Approx 2-2.5 hrs)

From the Tokyo metropolitan area, drive to the Mito IC (90 min), then drive another 50 minutes to Honda Mobility Resort Motegi Circuit.

You can also use the Kita-Kanto Expressway via Moka IC, which is also about 50 minutes to the circuit (Total time from Tokyo is 3 hours).

Parking: Paid parking is available.
