Things to do in Kuki – Nearby Tokyo Interview
Nearby Tokyo talks to Kuki city’s local tourist office about things to do in the area, including their famous lantern festival as well as their Iris, lavender and cosmos flowers.
My wish for your trip to Japan is sunny skies, low humidity and a lack of rain clouds. Unless you’re visiting for ski season, in which case, I hope you get all the powdery snow! Unfortunately, the weather doesn’t always cooperate with our plans. However, if you’re prepared, a bad weather day doesn’t necessarily mean a ruined day. Stay ahead of the rain clouds by choosing a weather app in Japan that will give you all the information you need to plan your wardrobe and itinerary for the day.
There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.

WeatherJapan offers an hourly forecast over a 48-hour period with sunrise and sunset times and a 5-day forecast for temperature and weather conditions.
This no-frills app is perfect for the traveler who wants the big picture.

This app offers a 1-hour visual radar, humidity, dew point, wind, pressure, UV index, cloud cover, and visibility reporting. They also provide a 72-hour detailed forecast with weather, temperature/ real feel and precipitation. Their 15 -day overview forecasts high and low temperatures and likelihood of precipitation. And with all of this available in 33 languages and dialects, AccuWeather speaks your language– rain or shine.
Last, but certainly not least is The Weather Channel app, which is so much more than just weather. The app provides a 17-hour detailed forecast with temperature and conditions with an overview on wind, humidity, pressure, dew point, and UV index Their 6-hour radar forecast helps you visualize future precipitation and plan accordingly. The Weather Channel’s 14-day overview offers high and low temperatures, wind, precipitation forecast for day and night as well as sunrise and sunset times, so you can plan a romantic experience.
My favorite aspects of this app are the Go Run Index, Allergy Index, Mosquito Index and Dry Skin Index. It’s nice to know whether it’s raining or sunny, but knowing whether I need bug spray or antihistamines is perhaps more important to me than sunscreen and umbrellas.
