First established in 1959 and revived in 2011, Kouran was originally one of the first Gyoza restaurants that opened in Utsunomiya and helped put ‘Utsunomiya Gyoza’ on the map.

This family run Gyoza shop is a 💎hidden gem and offers one of the best Gyoza in town.
From the outside it is difficult to tell that this is one of the locals faviourate gyoza shop and fist timers may need a little courage to open the door and step in. However those who are brave enough to walk in and order gyoza will be heavily rewarded.😋
