Nikko Shasan Maki (Roll) Shop

- Nikko Shasan Maki (Sushi Roll) -
We rolled Nikko's 400-year pilgrimage heritage and culinary wisdom into elegant sushi rolls.

Located just between Nikko stations and the UNESCO shrines, so it’s a perfect place to stop by if feeling peckish.

During the Edo period, the Tokugawa Shogunate made grand pilgrimages to Nikko, a journey known as ‘Nikko Shasan’. In landlocked Tochigi, preparing feasts for the Shogun required a deep mastery of preservation.

Nikko Shasan Maki was born to translate this rich history into the art of the sushi roll. We hope you enjoy each local ingredient which tells a story of samurai hospitality.
