Praised as one of Kanto’s biggest 🏮lantern festivals, the week-long 🔥Kuki Lantern Festival🔥 is an opportunity for you to forget about your worries and 🍻just have fun!
The 7 majestic floats are decorated with mythical dolls during the 🌞day and lit up with hundreds of 🏮lanterns at 🌙night. The thundering taiko drums and powerful performances— now that’s the 👏sound of Japanese summer!
The festival will get even 😮wilder when the local men start to 🏃🏻spin the 4-ton floats at top speed and 🏃🏻slam them into one another! Make sure to check out 😍Kuki’s specialty desserts including buns with salted anko (sweet bean paste)!
